Ohio Wild Turkey Hunting Dates and Rules:
Wild Turkey Season: Open statewide except Lake La Su An Wildlife Area
Bag limit 2 bearded turkeys
Only one bearded turkey may be taken per day. Persons wishing to take a second wild turkey during the season must purchase a second Turkey Permit.
It is legal to use a leashed dog to recover wounded turkeys in turkey season.
Booking/Cancellation Policy and Other Rules:
You will arrive the day before your hunt at a pre-arranged time. Checkout will be at 2:00 p.m. on
the last day.
If you book a hunt, and arrive late or leave early - NO REFUNDS
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your hunt and we are able to re-book your hunt, then your deposit will be refunded or applied to available alternative hunt dates. You may also take responsibility for filling your vacancy. OTHERWISE NO REFUNDS.
Should you or someone in your group decide not to come, a substitute is recommended.
IF you cancel less than 15 days prior to the start of your hunt, YOU ARE LIABLE FOR THE BALANCE DUE ON YOUR HUNT, REGARDLESS. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED FOR THE BALANCE OF THEIR HUNT AND MAY NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOOK IN THE FUTURE.
Choice of first day hunting position/area will be in order of booking.
Stay in your area while hunting. Do not cross any fences. If you disturb another hunter in his area you will be asked to pay for his entire hunt and vice versa.
Must bring & wear safety harness to hunt from elevated tree stands.
Do not carry your weapon into the tree stand as you climb; you must use a lift rope.
All hunters must sign a waiver & liability release agreement prior to scouting and/or hunting on the property and carry a permission slip on your person while hunting.
Must obtain hunting license from ODNR or any Wal-Mart.
Food is not included but a full kitchen is available in the Eagle Rock Lodge.
